The Art of Play

Playground Crochet by Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam

"It's a happy talent to know how to play."
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Playscapes, a blog dedicated to the art of playground design, has featured some amazing playgrounds and play spaces from around the world.  From contemporary artists / sculptors like fiber artist Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam who crochet's her playscapes by hand, or British sculptor Gary Webb's colorful "interactive" sculpture, to mid-century modern sculptors like Isamu Noguchi and Egon Moller-Nielsen.  What a great way to experience and explore art.
