A Glimpse at the World Architecture Festival 2014 Winners

The Carve :: Norway :: A-Lab

In a series that began in July, we looked at the shortlist for 2014's World Architecture Festival. The event, which seeks to award the best architecture from around the world in 30 individual categories, featured three days of talks, key-note speakers and networking opportunities. This year's theme was “Architects and the City,” focusing on the contributions architects make to cities, and how they affect – and are affected by – politics, infrastructure, planning communities and technology. Today, we culminate our series by taking a look at some of this year's festival winners.
