The Architecture of the Sochi Olympics

Today marks the official start of the 22nd Winter Olympics. Aside from being one of the most controversial Games in recent memory, it's proven to be, by far, the most expensive - clocking in at around $50 billion (for context, 2010's Vancouver Games came in at about $7 billion). Here's a look at some of the architectural venues that lofty price tag has afforded this year's Games.
