DPP Sponsors Pasadena Heritage's Lecture and Home Tour :: Pasadena: 1940 Forward

As part of Pacific Standard Time's Modern Architecture in LA series, Pasadena Heritage presents Pasadena: 1940 Forward - Three Views of the Recent Past.

May 16 Lecture: $18 members/$20 nonmembers
May 19 Tour: $40 members/$50 nonmembers

The lecture featuring presentations and discussion by three noted architectural historians - Alan Hess, Barbara Lamprecht and Daniel Paul - will take place Thursday, May 16th from 7 to 8:30pm at the Pasadena Presbyterian Church, designed by Pasadena architect John Andre Gougeon.

The self-guided tour will take place on Sunday, May 19th from 9am to 4pm and will feature six Modern-area Pasadena homes:
The Dorland House by Architect Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright

The Hamlin House, 1983 by Buff & Hensman, FAIA
Architect Harold B. Zook's own 1951 home

The Norton House, 1954 by Buff & Hensman, FAIA
Builder Ted Tyler's own home

Architect Lawrence Test’s own home
